The difference between screen printing and laser engraving

Many of our silicone products require characters and patterns to be printed on them. The more common methods are screen printing and radium carving. So what is the difference between the two methods?

Let's start with silk screen printing. This is a technique of directly printing ink through a screen to neatly print desired group characters onto the product. Before printing, customize a screen that requires printing characters. When printing, the brush sweeps the ink across the screen, and the ink will leak through small holes in previously customized patterns or characters onto the product to print a pattern. As long as the screen is properly subscribed, it can be printed quickly and conveniently. After printing, characters or patterns are fixed to the product by means of drying, drying, drying, and baking in an oven. Easy to use and low cost. After printing, the private color is bright and the characters are exquisite. Is the most common and effective printing scheme.

Laser engraving is commonly used on silicone buttons. This type of button is generally processed using natural color silicone, which is a white translucent silicone material. Then spray black oil on the front of the button. Remove the black oil radium carving from the area where the pattern needs to be carved by laser on the button to form a pattern. This pattern is generally translucent. However, compared to screen printing, the cost is slightly higher.
